Six Update 3 acquisition routes
| Unit / evolved form | Reported route | Before you commit |
|---|---|---|
| Devil → Devil (Hero) | Standard Banner when featured | Check the live rotation. |
| Ignition Commander → Ignition Commander (Betrayal) | Standard Banner when featured | Budget for evolution separately. |
| Fallen Angel → Fallen Angel (Holy) | Devil’s Request quest chain | Read the active quest objective. |
| Wild Card → Wild Card (Ace) | Tier 5 Infernal Portal | Confirm the required difficulty. |
| Crimson Captain → Crimson Captain (Moon) | District 7 banner / Infernal Dust | Farm the matching currency. |
| Water Sage (Founder) | Tower Season 2, Floor 50 | Check the current season rewards. |
Fallen Angel: where to start Devil’s Request
- 01
Find Devil
Enter Flaming Monastery, Story Act 1, and talk to the Devil NPC to activate the quest.
- 02
Collect the quest drops
Continue Story runs and clear random Infernal Stages. The reported target is 16 Torn Pages.
- 03
Finish the quest, then plan evolution
Fallen Angel is the quest reward. Its reported evolution needs a White Pillar Cloak, 25 Red Sprites, 25 Green Sprites, 1 Rainbow Sprite and 10,000 Gold.
If progress is stuck, check that the quest is active before doing more Story runs. Random stage appearances make completion time unpredictable.
Wild Card: which Portal to farm
bo3.gg reports this route: Flaming Monastery Infinite → Infernal Portal → clear Tiers 1–4 → Tier 5 Hard. The earlier All Things How overview instead says standard summons. Check Wild Card’s current obtainment panel before farming or pulling.
Water Sage: check the current Tower season
bo3.gg places Water Sage (Founder) at Tower Season 2, Floor 50. An earlier overview also mentions summons. Open the current Tower rewards and unit obtainment panel first; do not spend Gems on that older claim alone.
How to compare a new unit with your team
A new pull earns a slot by solving a problem. Test whether it improves the wave where you leak, the boss you cannot finish or the economy needed to afford upgrades. Compare units at similar investment; base-form damage and fully evolved damage are not interchangeable.
| Team need | Compare |
|---|---|
| Damage | Attack pattern, range and upgrade cost |
| Control | Trigger, duration and enemy restrictions |
| Support | Which allies benefit and whether copies stack |
| Economy | Time until the unit repays its own cost |
Spend evolution materials deliberately
- Inspect the exact form in your inventory.
- Read the in-game recipe and preserve materials shared with your priority unit.
- Check the mode you intend to play; a boss-focused kit may not fix wave clear.
- Reassess after balance patches. Published Update 3 rankings described new units as preliminary.
