What changed since the launch guides?
September 25 coverage identifies Update 3 as Endless Hellflame, with District 7 Boss Rush, the Infernal Hunt event and new equipment. The July preview-only roster is no longer a useful picture of the game. This guide separates current public reports from account-specific unlock requirements.

Crimson Captain: Boss Rush → Infernal Dust → banner
District 7 uses Infernal Dust rather than Gems. Clear at least two gates to challenge the boss; more gates improve the reported payout. Spend Dust at the District 7 Secret banner.

Planning estimate: from zero pity and zero saved Dust, 300 × 100 = 30,000 Dust. That is about 125 clears at 240 per run or 30 at 1,000. Bonuses, current pity and changed rewards alter this; compare Dust per minute, not payout alone.
If your placed units stop attacking, look for an approaching Infernal. Move into prompt range and use Put Out (E on keyboard) before it reaches the unit.
Choose the next guide for your problem
Build around jobs, not six damage dealers
- A main damage unit: invest enough for it to handle the stages you can currently farm.
- Control or support: read the skill wording and check whether it helps the same enemies and damage types as your carry.
- Economy: compare the payoff of income investment with the length of the stage.
- Coverage: look for enemies or lanes your current team repeatedly misses.
Keep your resources tied to one goal
Before spending Gems, confirm the featured units on that banner. Before evolving a unit, open its recipe and check every material. Before rerolling a useful trait, decide how much of your stock you are willing to spend. A partly built collection can leave you weaker than one upgraded core team.

- Collect available account rewards, then inspect the current event schedule.
- Review equipment and traits on your existing team before chasing a replacement.
- Choose one unit route from the updated unit guide.
- Run the target mode once and check its reward preview before committing a long session.
